Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your phone number, legal name, date of birth, gender, and — where identity verification is required — your identification number (PINFL) and passport series and number.
• Identity verification data: identity document details, photos, face/liveness check results, and related verification metadata, processed through the MyID identity provider.
• Contacts: if you grant contact access, phone numbers you choose to sync are used only to help you find counterparties who also use Qarz-Qurs. You can use the app without syncing contacts.
• Activity data: debts, shared expenses, borrow requests, cash payment confirmations, and support communication.
• Technical data: device and session metadata used for security, push notifications, and fraud prevention.

How we use MyID

For identity verification we use MyID, a licensed third-party identity provider in Uzbekistan. Photos, biometric comparison results, and verification metadata are used solely to confirm your identity, protect your account, and authorize sensitive actions. We do not sell or share this data for marketing.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Records required for audit, financial history, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance may be retained after account closure for the period required by law.

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account from the app (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us. Deletion is completed once you have no unresolved financial obligations; data we are legally required to keep is retained as described above, and the rest is removed.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion, subject to the limits above.
