What Qarz-Qurs is

Qarz-Qurs is a record-keeping app for debts and shared expenses between people who already trust each other. It records what the two sides state. It does not hold, transfer, or independently verify money, and it is not a bank, a payment provider, or a lender.

Every record requires both sides to act: the person who enters a debt, expense, or cash loan never confirms it. The other party accepts it, and only then does an obligation exist.

Objectionable content and abusive behaviour

Qarz-Qurs has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users.

You agree not to submit, transmit, or display any content that is offensive, obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or discrimination, and not to harass, threaten, or abuse any other user through this application — including in obligation titles, notes, group names, and your own display name.

Any user may report content and may block another user. Reported content is reviewed and, where it breaches these terms, removed within 24 hours, and the account responsible for it is suspended or terminated. We may remove content and terminate accounts for a breach of this section without notice and at our sole discretion.

To report content, open the item and choose Report. To block someone, open their profile and choose Block user. To contact us directly, write to support@qarz-qurs.uz.

What blocking does

Blocking hides the other user’s written text from you, removes the conversation from your main list, and prevents either of you from creating new records with the other.

Blocking does not delete or change existing financial records. Amounts, dates, and balances are preserved, because they are the evidence both parties rely on and the reason you can still settle what is outstanding. You can unblock at any time from Profile.

Your account

You must be able to receive SMS on the phone number you register, and you must complete identity verification through MyID before you can create or accept any financial record. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Identity verification applies to each sign-in. After you sign out, you confirm through MyID again before financial actions. Your verified details are retained, so this is a check rather than a new registration.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is used for fraud, or where we are required to do so by law. Suspension does not erase financial records, and it does not cancel obligations you owe or are owed.
